Hi everyone! I hope you all have had a good week since my last post. Thought I should give a little update on what I’ve been doing. Work on the Oath Keeper’s Servant is going well, and I even had a like from two publishers during Pitmad. Yay! For those who don’t know, Pitmad is an event on Twitter that takes place four times a year where authors can tweet a pitch for their book. If a tweet has #Pitmad and the person is participating, you’re not supposed to like that post unless you’re an editor, agent, or publisher. If you do want to show your support or express that you thought someone’s pitch was unique, enthralling, and a memorable idea, please just retweet and/or comment.
Other than the Oath Keeper’s Servant, I also pitched a picture book about having CHARGE syndrome. I made it in kindergarten, but hopefully, it will help plenty of people if I do publish it.
Even more exciting news I have is that come early next year, I will launch a limited-series podcast called Zach Writes Stuff, which will be produced by Jesse Luciani, founder of Empty Can Productions. Right now ECP is producing three podcasts; Jesse Makes a Movie, the Rotten Review show (with Jesse and Joseph Pyffereon) where they review terrible horror movies and Stories in Ink (with the host New York City tattoo artist Spencer Kinnard).
